During college I worked five summers at Lutheran Camp Perkins in the Sawtooths, as counselor, program director, and off-site trip director and worship coordinator.
     After graduating in engineering in 1990, the Lord redirected me to a youth ministry position at Twin Falls Reformed Church. In my fifth year there I followed the call to schoolteaching ministry, starting at Magic Valley Christian School. During that time, Carrie and I started with Lighthouse Christian Fellowship and also moved from Twin Falls to nearby Filer. In 2003 I began teaching at Lighthouse Christian School. I now focus primarily on high school sciences, and I coach track & field.
     In the summers I'm self-employed in irrigation systems, and as a handyman. I continue to self-publish articles and occasionally write songs, and I'm hoping to write for magazines again in the coming years, as I have had some success with that in the past. Carrie continues her successful craft/artisan business The Cat's Pajamas.
